The Elephant Festival is considered one of the most popular and celebrated festivals in the city of Jaipur, Rajasthan. It is primarily based on elephants, but other animals such as camels and horses also participate. The Elephant Festival organises various competitions that include Elephant polo, elephant racing, and tug-of-war between elephants. An award is also provided to the the most beautifully decorated elephant.
