Established by the University of Agricultural Sciences (UAS) in 2013, the Agricultural Science Museum was founded with an aim to track the origin and the advancement of agriculture in human society to preserve the agricultural legacy of the nation. The museum also focuses on illustrating the expansion of the University, to offer insight and understanding of the phases of agricultural evolution at a national and state level, and to showcase the latest problems related to technological expansions and equipment in the area of agriculture.

The walls of the museum are adorned with pictures of fruits, flowers, birds, and animals with quotes from famous personalities such as Mahatma Gandhi, Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru, Dr. Abdul Kalam, Dr. Rajagopalachari, etc. the courtyard of the Agricultural Science Museum is an open-air place with sculptures of grazing cows, cranes, farmers, bullock carts, tractors, etc.
