Chitrakote falls

Chitrakote Falls, also spelled Chitrakote, Chitrakot, and Chitrakoot is a waterfall located in the Bastar district of Chhattisgarh. It is about 29 metres high. It is the widest fall in India, that reaches a width of nearly 300 metres during the monsoon season. It is often called the "Niagara Falls of India" because of its width and its widespread horseshoe shape during the monsoon season. A Hindu temple dedicated to the god Shiva is also located on the left bank of the Chitrakote Falls. The best time to visit Chitrakote Falls is from the months of October to March.
