kakolat falls

Kakolat falls is situated on Kakolat hill, Bihar.

The falls also play a role in Hindu mythology, according to legend a Treta Yuga king was cursed to take the shape of a python and live at the falls here.

It was believed that Lord Krishna used to come to this place with his queens for a bath.

Water of this fall remains cold for the whole year.

Height of the falls is around 150 to 160 feet, from the ground level.
