Panimur Falls is a waterfall located in the Dima Hasao district of the Indian state of Assam. The waterfall is one such place which attracts not only local tourists but also people from all over the country. It is formed from the Kopili River and is situated 120 kms away from Haflong, the only hill station in Assam. The waterfall is locally called Niagara Falls. The picturseque view of the surroundings has made it a popular picnic spot. The best time to visit Panimur Falls is during autumn, winter or spring.
