katiki falls

Katiki Falls is a waterfall, located in Alluri Sitharama Raju district of Andhra Pradesh. It is named after the village Katiki. The waterfall originates at River Gosthani, cascading down from a height of more than 100 feet, which forms a small pond at the bottom. Katiki Falls is one of the best waterfalls and is also a famous tourist place that can be reached by taking a trek of about 20-30 minutes from Araku. There is no public transport available to the waterfall. Visitors are usually advised not to venture to the waterfall in their own car as the road is bumpy and not suitable for regular cars. Jeeps for visitors are available from Gatevalsa which is 7 km away from Katiki. The best time to visit the waterfall is during monsoons.
