Tarnetar fair

The Tarnetar fair spans for three days, mainly celebrated for young men and women in search of their significant others and is held every year in Tanetar Village, Gujarat in the months of August and September. It is believed to have started 200 or 250 years ago and is based on the legends of Draupadi’s swayamvara from Mahabharata. The festival is visited by more than 50,000 people every year.
