Sweet Falls is a waterfall, located in Shillong in the Indian state of Meghalaya. It cascades down from a height of 315 feet and is often termed as the "most beautiful" yet "most dangerous" waterfall in Shillong. The area around the waterfall is surrounded with pine trees. A number of deaths have been recorded till now, the local people believe that this fall is haunted. The fall can be visited anytime throught the year but it is generally advised to visit before 4 pm. There are few places to visit near the waterfall, Mawsmai Cave, Thangkharang Park, Double Decker Living Root Bridge are some of them.
No entry fee, however a fee of Rs 70 is charge per vehicle.
