Bijanbari is a village in Darjeeling Pulbazar CD block in the Darjeeling district of West Bengal. The village is a place of importance as it has the Block Divisional office and a Hydel Power Plant. It lies in a valley which is at an altitude of 760 metres above sea level. The valley produces potatoes, cardamom, rice, maize, millets, peas, beans, squash, cauliflower, and many other fruits and vegetables as Agriculture is the main industry in Bijanbari and the surrounding areas. Bijanbari is a small village with very few educational institutes that include only one Government school and three private schools.
