About the Museum

One of the most sought-after and must-visit tourist places in Mumbai, Maharashtra, the Red-Carpet Wax Museum as the name suggests, is a place where lifelike wax statues of celebrities from all niches of fields globally such as socialites, politicians, world leaders, scientists, social workers, even superheroes are displayed. The statues displayed look completely like the real celebrity and are built in a pose that is famous of that celebrity with that same costume, accessory, and expressions. The statues in the museum are given the necessary environment around them to bring out the complete look and feel of the theme. The museum took over five years to construct after which its access was made available to the visitors in December 2016. Housing over 40 life-size statues with statues of celebrities such as BalasahebThakare, Mahatma Gandhi, Mr. Bean, Michael Jackson, Harry Potter, James Bond, Steve Jobs, Bill Gates, Elbert Einstein, Barak Obama, Amitabh Bachchan, Salman Khan, and Shahrukh Khan having a separate fan base. Some accessories or clothes are available related to all statues from the souvenir shop which you can take for a moment to pose with the celebrity of your choice. For example, you can wear Queen Elizabeth’s crown or pose with a Pope inside a church.
