Suketi Fossil Park: The Sirmaur district of Himachal Pradesh in India is home to the Suketi Fossil Park, often referred to as the Shivalik Fossil Park, which is a well-known fossil park. The upper and middle Siwaliks geological formations of sandstones and clay at Suketi contain a collection of vertebrate fossils and skeletons that date back to prehistoric times. This park is the first one in Asia to be located on the same site where the actual fossils were unearthed. It features soft sandstone and clay rocks and is situated in the upper and middle Shivaliks.
