The Hornbill Festival, also called the 'Festival of Festivals', is held every year from 1 to 10 December, in Nagaland. The Festival showcases a colourful mixture of dances, performances, crafts, parades, games, sports, food fairs and religious ceremonies. It was celebrated for the first time in the year 2000.
