mahamastakabhisheka

The Mahamastakabhisheka refers to the abhiá¹£eka of the Jain images when held on a large scale. The festival It is an integral part of the ancient and composite Jain tradition, held once every 12 years. The festival is marked by pouring Purified water and sandalwood paste over the statue from a scaffolding.
