Pakke Kessang district is situated in Arunachal Pradesh state.
In the year 1977, the Pakhui Wildlife Sanctuary was founded Pakke-Kessang.
The district is surrounded by East Kameng in the northwest, Sonitpur and Biswanath to the south, Papum Pare to the southeast, Kra Daadi to the east, West Kameng in the west.
