Chhattisgarh is home to many tribes like Bhujia, Korba, Bastar, Gond, Abizmaria, Muria, Halba, Parja, Bhatra, Dantewara, Dandami, and so on., and the culture in Chhattisgarh is a blend of practices and celebrations of people belonging to these tribes and culture groups living here. This includes various forms of folk and tribal music, and dances, different traditional art and crafts, regional festival celebrations and fairs.
Hinduism is the most prevalent religion in the state, followed by Islam and Buddhism.
Hindi and Chhattisgarhi are the most-spoken languages across the state. Chhattisgarhi is spoken in differnet dialects in different regions. There are dialects of Chhattisgarhi spoken in the state – Kedri, Utti, Budati, Rakshahun and Bhandar.
