Being part of the Aravali ecosystem, this is a unique buffer that divides desert areas from the region's dry deciduous plantation. Motu Derasar is a temple dedicated to Lord Parshwanath that was established by King Prahladan.Another draw to this Jain temple is the presence of the last surviving picture of Palanpur's King Prahladan. The temple was attacked multiple times throughout history because it was one of the wealthiest temples at the time. It was damaged by attackers but repaired after each one.
