Dhotrey is a small Himalayan village located within the Singalila National Park in Darjeeling district. It is situated at 8500 feet above sea level. Dhotrey is paradise for trekkers, nature lovers and bird watchers, where only homestay accommodations are available to stay. Tariff stars from Rs.900 to Rs.1250 per head per day which includes breakfast and dinner. Although, Dhotrey can be visited throughout the year, but best time to visit is mid of September and December to enjoy memorizing views of Mighty Kanchenjunga, another best time to visit Dhotrey is between the months of March and early April when the area is filled with the fragrance and blossoms of magnolias, spruce and rhododendrons.
