Kumargram is a community development block that forms an administrative division in the Alipurduar subdivision in West Bengal. It has hilly terrain which is part of the sub-Himalayan ranges and a river named Sanaka, flows along the eastern boundary. It is popularly known for marathon, one day knockout football tournament which is organised by different village clubs. The major play grounds are Kamakhyaguri High School Maidan and Kamakhyaguri mini indoor stadium.
