Prashar Lake: A three-story pagoda-like shrine honoring the sage Prashar is located near Prashar Lake, a reservoir of crystal-clear water about 50 kilometers north of Mandi. The lake retains a holy place there and is situated at a height of 2730 meters above sea level. It also boasts deep blue waters. The area overlooks the swiftly flowing river Beas while being surrounded by the snow-capped peaks of the Dhauladhar ranges in Kullu Valley. The depth of the lake, which has a floating island within it, is unknown.
