In the Indian state of Himachal Pradesh, Mandi is a significant city and a municipal corporation located in the Mandi District. It has good summers and frigid winters and is located 145 kilometers north of Shimla, the state capital, in the north-west Himalayas at an average elevation of 880 meters.
