  • Shree Swaminarayan Mandir VadtalDham : Vadtal Swaminarayan is another name for Vadtal. The temple is shaped like a lotus, with nine domes in the inner temple. Joban Pagi, a dacoit turned to a devotee by Shri Swaminarayan Bhagwan, donated the land for this shrine. S.G. Brahmanand Swami oversaw the construction of the temple.On the day of Nirjala Ekadashi, Vadtal devotees traveled to Gadhada to meet ShreejiMaharaj. They urged Shree Swaminarayan to build a Shri Krishna Mandir at Vadtal the next day, the twelfth day of the bright half of Jyestha.ShreejiMaharaj directed his disciple Brahmanand Swami to temporarily abandon the Muli temple construction in order to plan and supervise the construction of a temple with a team of saints. The temple was built in 15 months, and the statues of Laxminarayan Dev were installed by Shree Swaminarayan Bhagwan himself on November 3rd, 1824, amidst chanting of vedic hymns and the devotional intensity of the installation ceremony. He placed the idols of Laxminarayan Dev and Ranchhodji in the center of the shrine. In the north, there are idols of Dharmdev and Bhaktimata, as well as his own form, HarikrishnaMaharaj. Shree Swaminarayan Bhagwan also placed RadhaKrishna Dev and HarikrishnaMaharaj idols in the south.
