Aharbal Waterfall

Aharbal Falls is a waterfall, cascading down at a height of 25 metres, located in the Indian union territory of Jammu and Kashmir. It is also known as Niagara Waterfall of Kashmir and is situated on the Vishav River, a tributary of the Jehlum River. The waterfall is surrounded by a valley covered in pine and fir trees. It is often visited by the local people and several tourist as it is a part of a hill station. The best time to visit Aharbal Falls is between the month of April and October. There are few places to visit near the waterfall, Kounsernag Lake and Kungawatan are some of them.
