The Biligiri Rangaswamy Temple Tiger Reserve is located in Chamarajanagar district of Karnataka.
The tiger reserve derives its name from 'BILIGIRI ', which is the white rocky cliff having a temple of Lord 'VISHNU' locally known as ‘Rangaswamy’.
It covers an area of 574.82 square kilometres.
Mammals such as the Gaur, Sambhar, Spotted deer, Barking deer, Four horned antelope, Tiger, Leopard, Wild dog, Lesser cat, Civet cat and many more can be spotted here.
