kailasakona falls

Kailasakona Falls is situated in Andhra Pradesh.

The waterfall have a height of around 40 feet. The specialty of the falls is that, there is water throughout the year. Apart from the main falls, there are two smaller falls near the Lord Shiva and Parvathi temple.

There is a history behind the name of the waterfalls.it is said that Lord Kailasanatheswara Swami attended the marriage of Lord Venkateshwara Swami and Goddesses Padmavathi at Narayanavaram here. He then selected this water fall to meditate. Hence the name Kailasakona.

The best time to visit Kailasakona waterfalls is between the months of October and February.
