koilighugar falls

Koilighugar Waterfalls is situated in Jharsuguda district of Odisha .

Height of the falls is 200 ft . A small stream named Ahiraj starts from the Chhuikhanch forest and while flowing through rocky belt falls creating Koilighughar waterfall .

There is a Shivalayam known as Maheshwarnath inside the fall. The drown lingam is not ordinarily visible. So another Shivalingam has been created outside the waterfall .

An annual fair happens in Koilighughar on the occasion of Shivaratri .

The best time to visit this place is during winter .
