Mandakini waterfall is situated in Satara district, Maharashtra.

The waterfall is formed by the meeting of the Bhagirathi and the Jalandari rivers in the Bhagirathi Valley.

The waterfalls previously known as “Harshil Falls”. But after the shooting of the famous movie “Ram Teri Ganga Maili” here, the waterfall become famous as "Mandakini Falls”.

The best time to visit this place is during the months of late July to October.
