In the Indian state of Andhra Pradesh's Vizianagaram district, Nelli-Marla serves as a census town. One of Andhra Pradesh's biggest jute mills is located at Nellimarla.   •  Katiki Waterfall : Katiki waterfall, one of the most well-known waterfalls in Vizag, Andhra Pradesh, is named after the mythological character Kaitiki. The waterfall is 4 kilometers away from Borra Caves and is 50 feet high. A 2 kilometer hike must be taken to get to the waterfall. The waterfall, which is a marvel for trekkers, comes from the Ghostani River. You can go camping, grilling, and shopping at the waterfall's base.

  • Sri Pydithalli Ammavari Temple : The deity of the people of Uttaranchal and the ruler of Poosapati is Paidimamba, or Paiditally, according to legend and history. Three lamps intersected where the Sri Pydithalli Ammavari Temple now stands. In the year 1757 Dhata Nama, a man by the name of PativadaAppalaswamy Naidu once carried the goddess' idol out of a sizable pond in Vijayanagar on Tuesday, the day of Vijayadashami. The Sri Pydithalli Ammavari Temple's first priestess was she. That family's priesthood have been passed down through the generations since that time. The sixth generation of priests includes BantupalliByragi Naidu .

  • Vizianagaram Fort: Vijayarama Raju-I built the Vizianagaram fort in 1713 on the auspicious day of VijayaDashmi. Prior to the construction of NagaarKhana, the Victory Arch served as the fort's primary entrance. On one side is a temple dedicated to Lord Hanuman, and on the other is a shrine to Goddess Lakshmi. The goddess is also referred to as "Kota Shakti," the fort's protector. Before setting out on any military mission, the Raja of Vizianagaram would enlist the goddess' favor. The East Gate serves as the fort's principal entrance.Before starting any military mission, the Raja of Vizianagaram would ask the goddess' grace. East Gate is where the fort's main entrance is located. Standing atop this gate is NagaarKhana. India's national percussion instrument is the nagara. The word "NagaarKhana" means "Drum Room" if it were translated literally. When announcing royal edicts, it was utilized to get people's attention. To inform the prisoners of the coming of royal visitors, the drummer also utilized the Nagaara. Rear access to the Vizianagaram fort is through the West Gate.

  • Tatipudi Reservoir: Srungavarapukoda, popularly known as S Kota, is a town in the Vizianagaram district that is situated between Vizag and Araku Valley and is close to the Tatipudi Reservoir. To offer drinking water amenities for Vizag City, the Reservoir was constructed over the River Gosthani in 1963. The mountains surrounding this area are very lush green and quite picturesque. There are boating amenities. In the months of April and May, a number of migratory birds make this reservoir their home .

  • The distance from the airport in Visakhapatnam to Nellimarla is about 70 kilometers. Nellimarla is located 10 kilometers from Vizianagaram, the closest significant railway station. There is presently bus service from Nellimarla to Visakhapatnam and Vizianagaram.
