Palwal is a city and a municipal council. It is the headquarters of Palwal district, the 21st district of Haryana state in northern India. It is a centre of the cotton trade in the area. It is also a part of National Capital Region.

His mother was worried since he hadn't arrived home in time. Krishna leapt into the nearby kund and transformed into Hanuman out of fear of her wrath. The mother was delighted to see Hanuman. She bowed before him and left. Since that time, the kund has been referred to as AnjaniKund, another name for Hanuman.

  • Gandhi Museum : In Palwal, there is a museum called Gandhi Seva Ashram. The Palwal Railway Station is near to the Gandhi Museum. In protest of the Rowlatt Act, Mahatma Gandhi was detained on April 10, 1919, at the Palwal railway station. Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose preserved this recollection on October 2, 1938. In 1962, Gandhi Seva Ashram founded the Gandhi exhibition. Gandhiji's historical legacy was preserved in it. Images from Delhi's Gandhi Museum were brought in for the display. Later, they began to sustain deterioration; as a result, they were upgraded, and the exhibition location was transformed into a museum.
