  • Venuvana : King Bimbisara gave Buddha the bamboo grove of Veluvana as a home. It is now a park with beautiful bamboos, flowers, and a large pond with Buddha's image in the centre.

  • Japanese Stupa : This pillar, also known as the Vishwa Shanti Stupa, is located 400 meters up the Gridhakuta hill. The Japanese built it as a symbol of world peace.This marble pillar also houses four golden Buddha statues symbolizing various periods of his life: birth, enlightenment, preaching, and death. An aerial ropeway can take you to this area.

  • Vulture's Peak or Griddhakuta : Vulture Peak, also known as Griddhakuta and located in Rajgir, is another popular sight in Bihar. It is a Buddhist pilgrimage place. It was one of the top three venues where Shakyamuni Buddha or Gautama Buddha lectured for many years. Griddhakuta is a renowned tourist destination located on a little hill just outside of Rajgir at an elevation of 400 meters. This mountain is called as the Vulture's Peak because it is shaped like a vulture and is frequently visited by the bird. It is said that Lord Buddha lived there for many years. Vulture Peak also provides a spectacular 360-degree view of the surrounding area and might be an intriguing half-day excursion.

  • Rajgir Ropeway : The Rajgir ropeway line is a wonderful excursion in the cradle of nature. It is the only ropeway in existence in the state of Bihar. The single-person seater rope line is a thrilling adventure that leads you all the way to the top of the scenic Ratnagiri Hill, which houses the famous Vishwa Shanti Stupa, also known as the Peace Pagoda. The chairlift ropeway rises to a height of over 1000 feet from the ground level and is a thrilling ride to undertake. The area falls under the Pant Wildlife Sanctuary, which provides unmatched views of the surrounding forest area. The ropeway gives access to the Buddhist memorabilia and constructions of a bygone era on the hilltop, and coupled with picturesque views, there's nothing more you can ask for!Rajgir is located in a valley, therefore expect to see gorgeous scenery all around you. The area is deeply connected to Buddhism and its practices, rituals, and culture.
