Sri Ganganagar is a planned city and situated in Rajasthan.
It is named after Maharaja Ganga Singh of Bikaner.
The city is surrounded on the east by Hanumangarh district, on the south by Bikaner district, and on the west by Bahawalnagar district of the Pakistani Punjab and on the north by the Punjab.
