The census town of Uravakonda is located in the Andhra Pradesh state of India's Anantapur district. A metropolitan area of which the town is a part. Govindacharya Uravakonda obtained Uravakonda from the British at one point in time.

  • Ahobilam Temple : A little village called Ahobilam is well-known for housing the Lord Narasimha Swamy Temple. Dedicated to Lord Lakshmi Narasimha Swamy is the Ahobilam temple. The Adi Lakshmi Devi Temple and Chenchu Lakshmi Devi Temple are both located within the temple complex. It is the only temple where the deity is worshipped in all nine of its forms. Ahobilam is thought to be located in the center of Adishesha and to extend throughout the Nalmalla Hills. The temple, which was constructed in the Vijayanagara architectural style, contains images of all nine incarnations of Lord Narasimha Swami.
