Valsad, formerly known as Bulsar, is a city in the Valsad district of Gujarat, India. It serves as the district headquarters for the Valsad district. Valsad is located to the south of Navsari and Surat.

Although it is little in compared to the other temples we've visited, worshipers gather here all day. The temple is one-of-a-kind, and it has a story to tell. It is one of the few temples in the area without a full ceiling. Locals admit that every time they attempted to build it, the ceiling fell, therefore it remains exposed.

  • Swaminarayan Temple : Swaminarayan Temple is 1.6 kilometers from Tithal Beach in Valsad. The temple is made of stone and features amazing hand carvings. The Bochasanwasi Shri AksharPurushottam Swaminarayan Sanstha administers this temple dedicated to Lord Swaminarayan. This temple was constructed to honor the god "Swami Narayan." There are other statues of "Shree DhanshyamMaharaj," "Shree Gunatinandji Swami," and "Shree HarikrishnaMaharaj" at temples. There are additional statues of Lord Shri Krishna, Lord Ram, and Lord Hanumanji.
