We all know that keeping sane while enjoying such a thrilling activity can be a little difficult, but if you are planning to register yourself for a surfing lesson or plan to go surfing, here are some things to remember:
The ideal time to visit Maravanthe Beach is from September to March when the weather is pleasant, and the swimming opportunities are at its best. Surfing can be enjoyed to the fullestduring Autumn season and most importantly in the month of October. The beach has heavy tides, so it is not very safe for surfing for most times of the year.
The summers are very hot and not very suitable for beach visit during the day. You can visit dung the monsoons too, but the watersports will not be available during the heavy rainfall. Clean surfable waves are usually found 43% of the time in October while 42% of the time it tends to be blown out. For the remaining 15%, the waves are considered too small but are ideal for beginners.
Maravanthe beach has many restaurants that serve delicious Konkani cuisines and dishes from all over India. These are some of the diners and restaurants where you can have some lip-smacking food and refreshing drinks.
A two-foot white water waves gently rolling towards the beach is the ideal surf conditions for beginners and will allow the surfer to get up and ride the wave.
Although surfing is conducted in Maravanthe beach, the beach is relatively dangerous for beginners to surf and swim.
