Kumara Parvatha, which is also known as Pushpagiri is a beautiful mountain situated at an elevation of 5,616ft (1,712 m). Located in the Somwarpet Taluk, 20 km from Somwarpet in the northern part of Kodagu district, the Kumara Parvatha is the highest peak in Pushpagiri Wildlife Sanctuary and overall, the 4th highest peak in Karnataka. The KumaraParvatha is also one of the famous places for trekking in Karnataka situated in the region of Western Ghats.

The Kumara Parvatha is often referred to as Subramanya Hills and is the second-highest peak of the Kodagu district.The mountain is located in the midst of the Jungle and can be reached from both the eastern and western sides. The Eastern side entrance can be reached from Beedehalli through the Heggademane temple and the Western entrance from Kukke Subramanya through the Giri gadde. Although, the entrance through Beedehalli is less difficult.

Day 1 -
