Noted as one of the elegant bird Sanctuaries, Bharatpur Bird Sanctuary isalso called Keoladeo National Park. Famous for preserving avifauna Bird species, Bharatpur Bird Sanctuary is situated in Bharatpur, Rajasthan. Park is a man-made wetland and home to thousands of birds, particularly in the winter season.The reserve protects Bharatpur from frequent floods and supply grazing grounds for village cattle.

This diverse nest is home to 366 distinct bird species, 379 floral species, 50 species of fish, 13 species of snakes, 5 species of lizards, 7 turtle species, 7 amphibian species, and a variety of other invertebrates which creates an important part of the food chain.

Settling indigenous water-feathered creatures and also transient water-flying creatures and waterside winged creatures, this habitant is also a residence for Chital, Samba, Nilgai, and Boar.Once usedchiefly as a waterfowl hunting ground, the Bharatpur Bird Sanctuary is a perfect place to explore varieties of birds. This place is an open spot for tourists throughout the year, although the best time to visit this Sanctuary is from August to November to watch the resident birds and from October to February is the preferred time to get the sight of migratory birds.
