  • Ancient Site of Sugh : These remnants have been linked to the ancient settlement of Shrughna, which is mentioned in Hiuen Tsang's travelogue. The village of Amadalpur currently has control over the location of ancient Sugh. Dr. Suraj Bhan of the Department of Ancient Indian History, Culture, and Archaeology at Punjab University in Chandigarh and Shri D.S. Malik and Shri M. Acharya of the Department of Archaeology and Museums of the Government of Haryana both participated in the excavation of the mound. The existence of cast coins with inscriptions and without inscriptions, punch-marked coins, and handmade and moulded terracotta sculptures in the Mauryan style are all indicative of this period's second phase.
