The culture of Goa is a blend of Portuguese and Indian cultures. After the Portuguese arrived Goa in 1510, influencing people in Goa to adopt Portuguese culture, but most of them still retained their own Hindu and other customs and traditions, resulting in an Indo-Portuguese society.
The official language spoken across Goa is Konkani. And the second widely spoken language is English.
