  • Rani ki Vav: Rani Ki Vav, or "Queen's Stepwell," is a unique type of water storage system built on the banks of the Saraswati River in Patan, Gujarat. Rani ka Vav, thought to be Gujarat's grandest stepwell, exemplifies the pinnacle of Maru-Gujarat architectural style. The 900-year-old structure, which is a UNESCO World Heritage Site, is vividly displayed. In the past, the water from the well had medicinal properties that helped to prevent ailments such as viral infections and fever. The well was dug in the 1960s in a well-protected state because it was covered behind sanctuaries slits. Furthermore, Rani Ka Vav was a popular spot for folks to socialize as well as seek relief from the heat. It's a great example of transforming something useful into a work of art.
