Some of the best museums to visit in the city are:

• Mahant Ghasidas Sangrahalaya – A museum originally built in 1875 (by Raja Mahant Ghasidas), and again revamped in 1953 (by Queen Jyoti Devi); It contains many royal artefacts including weapons.
• Chhattisgarh Science Centre – A modern museum with attractions such as 3D illusions, mirror effects etc.
• DKNS Memorial Geological Museum – A museum displaying a of collection of minerals, rocks, semi-precious and precious stones.
