Nagaon, Assam

Nagaon town in Assam, around 120 kilometers from Guwahati. The Kolong River, a tributary of the Brahmaputra River, flows through the city and splits it into two sections. Because of the Kolong and Kopili rivers, the land here is marshy and has many marshes. As one of the most prominent cities in Assam, it has a variety of things to explore, ranging from national parks to historical landmarks.

The nearest railway station is Chapamukh, which is approximately 28 kilometers from Nagaon. Nagaon and Haiborgaon are the district's two stations. National Highways 36 and 37 pass through this district, connecting it to the rest of the country. Buses to Nagaon run from all of Assam's major cities. There is also a bus service from neighbouring states such as West Bengal and Arunachal Pradesh.
