Nuranang Falls, also called Bong Bong Falls, is a waterfall located in the Tawang district of Arunachal Pradesh. It is 100 metres high. The waterfall cascading from the top of a peak join the Tawang river at the bottom. It is one of the most spectacular waterfalls of the country, yet is not popular among travelers. The surroundings around the falls is dotted by high hills, covered in thick greenery and mist. A small hydel plant near the falls is also there, which generates electricity for the nearby areas. The best time to visit the waterfall is from the months of October to April.
