  • Lord Jagannath Temple : The Pondi Jagannath Temple, built by the Utkal Society of Koriya District, is one of the most beautiful temples in the area. This temple was designed with Odisha's Jagannath Mandir in mind. The temple complex is large, with several minor temples inside; they are all made of white marble and have a distinct sheen. The best time to visit is during the Rath festival, which occurs in September or later. The main attraction of this temple during this time is the towing of the carts, also known as raths, with Lord Jagannath inside.

The waterfall is also 5 kilometers wide and looks stunning during the rainy season. When it rains, the beauty of the area is enhanced even more; many people enjoy visiting around this time because the waterfall is in full bloom.

  • Maha Maya Temple: The Maha Maya Temple is one of the most well-known temples in Ratanpur, which is located a few kilometers from Chirmiri and may be reached by bus or car. Every year during Shivratri, hundreds of worshippers flock to pray to the gods in the temple, which is marked by a massive Shiva image on the entrance gate.

This is the major railway station that serves the inhabitants of Chirmiri, but there are others that are nearby, but they do not have frequent trains to other states. Stations such as Chirmiri Railway Station and Surajpur Railway Station are nearby; however they do not link to larger cities, only Raipur and Ambikapur.
