  • Kudargarh : Kudargarh is the most well-known religious site in the district. It's in the Odagi district, around 45 kilometers from the district headquarters. The Goddess Kudargarhi Temple was built in the 17th century by cutting stones. People think that devotees' wishes are granted here, thus they tie chunari to the trees to symbolize their hopes. There are 15 to 20 little caverns and one major cave, all of which have antique calligraphy and paintings. In the midst of the blossoming grandeur, there lays a 50-60 foot tall waterfall called Kapil Dhara. The best time to visit Kudargarh is during Chaitra Navaratra in April.

  • TamorPingla wildlife sanctuary : The largest wildlife sanctuary, "TamorPingla," is located in the Ramkola hamlet of Surajpur District. This sanctuary was named because of its location on the Tamor Hills, from where the Pingla River flows. It is about 90 kilometers away from the district headquarters. The most convenient mode of transit is by road, with Surajpur being the closest railway station. The main attractions in Tamor Pingla are wild buffalo, wild boars, sambhar, Asian elephants, barking deer, and cheetahs. On the hills adjacent lies the Temple of Goddess Pingla. A small creek rushes between the hills, which looks lovely. There is also a pond with gorgeous fish that draws visitors.

  • Mahamaya Mandir : The Mahamaya Temple is one of the most well-known and oldest temples. People travel from all over the world to worship at Mahamaya Mandir, which has become a popular tourist destination in Chhattisgarh . The people of Surajpur District have a deep faith in Mahamayadevi, and a fair is organized every Navratri to add to the temple's charm. Surajpur's Bhaktmandala offers a daily free bus service from Surajpur to Devipur for pilgrims and devotees. Residents and government officials in the area have taken substantial preparations.
