Sonipat district is one of the 22 districts that make up the Indian state of Haryana. District headquarters are located in Sonipat Town. It belongs to the National Capital Area. Along with Delhi, it shares borders with Panipat, Rohtak, Jind, Jhajjar, and Baghpat.

  • Tomb of Khwaja Khizr : The relics of the saint and the son of Darya Khan are interred in Khwaja Khizr's tomb. According to legend, he lived under Ibrahim Lodhi's authority.
